Whether you’re fresh to the industry or ready to rebuild your foundations the right way, this course gives you real-world skills, elite techniques, and the mindset to master your craft from day one.
Held in a beautiful, boutique salon in Docklands, Victoria, this exclusive three-day course offers personalised, hands-on training. With a maximum of two students per class, you’ll receive focused attention and individualised feedback to ensure the best start in your new career.
Taught by award-winning salon owner and internationally educated nail technician Svetlana Kisseleva, this hands-on training is rooted in hygiene, detail, and precision—because shortcuts don’t belong in luxury.
Along with guided training, you will receive a full kit to take home with you, so you can start your nail journey straight away.

Day 1: Chapters 1 and 2
Chapter 1: The Fundamentals of Being a Nail Technician
- Creating a hygienic, efficient and aesthetic workspace
- Disinfection and sterilisation
- Must-have tools, equipment & products (and where not to waste money)
- Setting up for seamless services and speed
- Professional presentation: why is our uniform important?
Chapter 2: The Fundamentals of the E-File Manicure
- Anatomy of the nail
- Introduction to the e-file: how it works and safety
- Bit types and their purpose, a comprehensive guide on which bits you need, and which you don’t
- E-file handling, speeds, angles, and pressure control
- Clean, safe cuticle prep, learning the ‘combi manicure’ (e-file and scissor work combined)
Day 2: Chapters 3 and 4
Chapter 3: The Fundamentals of Nail Prep
- Assessing the nail plate – what steps need to be taken to ensure proper prep
- Safe removal of nail enhancements
- Nail shaping, plate cleansing, and adhesion
- Primer vs dehydrator vs nail cleanser: when and why
- Prep perfection to prevent lifting and chipping
Chapter 4: The Fundamentals of Gel Application
- Choosing the right base, builder and hard gels
- Acidic versus Basic: why you need to care about the products you use
- Overlay techniques for natural nails
- Curing do’s and don’ts
- Fixing broken nails and single extensions
Day 3: Chapter 5 + live mode
